style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The scheme promises equal pension to military personnel retiring in the same rank with the same length of service, regardless of the date of retirement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The scheme is effective July 1, 2014, with 2013 as the base year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Only those who retired before the plan kicked in would be entitled to OROP.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The estimated cost to exchequer is expected to be Rs.8,000 to 10,000 crore and will increase in future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The government has proposed a review every five years.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>MINISTRY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF NORTH-EASTERN REGION<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>North East Rural Livelihood Project (NERLP)<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is a central Sector scheme externally aided by World Bank and implemented in four North Eastern States namely Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The objective is to improve livelihoods of the poor especially that of women and the disadvantaged people in the project area.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The identification of Districts for the project was done by the State Governments based on social and economic backwardness.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>Desired Outcomes \u2013<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Making the SHGs promoted and supported by the project sustainable,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Increasing the income level of the members of the SHGs (at least 60% of them) and disadvantaged households by 30% in real term.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Providing jobs or self-employment to the unemployed youths through various skill trainings, entrepreneurship development trainings, vocational trainings and management development trainings.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>MINISTRY OF DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>Jalmani Programme<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This programme is launched to provide value and quality addition to the on-going Rural Drinking Water Supply Programme to mainly address the water quality in rural areas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It involves installation of Stand Alone Purification System in rural Schools.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is implemented by the State Governments through the Gram Panchayat\/Village Water and Sanitation Committees\/Self Help Groups.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>Swachh Bharat Kosh (SBK)<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is been set up to attract Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from Corporate Sector and contributions from individuals and philanthropists to achieve the objective of Clean India by the year 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>MINISTRY OF EARTH SCIENCE<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>GraminKrishiMausamSeva (GKMS)<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The scheme is implemented by India Meteorological Department in collaboration with State Agricultural Universities \/Indian Council of Agricultural Research etc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It issues crop and location specific weather based agro advisories for the benefit of farming community.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The Agro-meteorological Advisory Services (AAS) under the GKMS is operated to prepare biweekly weather based bulletins.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The information is transmitted through multimedia channels and SMS to help farmers plan farm operations accordingly.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>MINISTRY OF ELECTRONICS AND IT<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>Digital India<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is a programme to transform India into digital empowered society and knowledge economy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The scheme is coordinated by the department of Electronics and IT and implemented by all government departments.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The scheme is to be monitored by a Digital India committee comprised of several ministers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span electronic development fund and envisages Net-Zero Electronics Import Target by 2020.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA)<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It is the new scheme to make rural households digitally literate by 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This scheme is initiated under Digital India Programme and expected to be one of the largest digital literacy programs in the world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It would empower the citizens by providing them access to information, knowledge and skills for operating computers\/digital access devices.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>National Action Plan on Climate Change<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC) is a comprehensive action plan which outlines measures on climate change related adaptation and mitigation while simultaneously advancing development.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It effectively pulls together a number of the government\u2019s existing national plans on water,renewable energy, energy efficiency agriculture and others and bundled with additional ones style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">National Mission for a \u201cGreen India\u201d: Goals include the afforestation of 6 million hectares of degraded forest lands and expanding forest cover from 23% to 33% of India\u2019s territory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">National Mission on Strategic Knowledge for Climate Change<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It aims at protecting; restoring and enhancing India\u2019s diminishing forest cover and responding to climate change by a combination of adaptation and style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">To improve\/enhance eco-system services like carbon sequestration and storage, hydrological services, biodiversity style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><u><b>National Mission for Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA)<\/b><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">It seeks to transform Indian agriculture into a climate resilient production system through suitable adaptation and mitigation measures in domains of both crops and animal husbandry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',
