{"id":3171,"date":"2022-10-20T12:49:30","date_gmt":"2022-10-20T07:19:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.classiciasacademy.com\/blog\/?p=3171"},"modified":"2022-10-20T12:49:32","modified_gmt":"2022-10-20T07:19:32","slug":"grameen-udyami-project-phase-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.classiciasacademy.com\/blog\/grameen-udyami-project-phase-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Grameen Udyami Project- Phase 2:"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul><li>Recently, National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in partnership with Seva Bharti and Yuva Vikas Society, launched the second phase of the Grameen Udyami Project.<ul><li>Under the initiative, the endeavor is to multiskill India\u2019s youth and impart functional skills to them for enabling livelihoods.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>It is a unique multiskilling project, funded by NSDC that aims to train 450 tribal students in Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The project is being implemented in six states\u2014 Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gujarat.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">National Skill Development Corporation:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/education-2\/nsdc-launches-second-phase-of-grameen-udyami-project-for-tribal-youths\/2639565\/\">National Skill Development Corporation<\/a> (NSDC) is a non-profit public limited company established on July 31, 2008, under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956.<ul><li>The Ministry of Finance established NSDC as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The Government of India, through the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), owns 49% of NSDC, while the private sector owns the remaining 51%.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The organisation provides funding to develop scalable and successful initiatives for vocational training.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>Increase in Rural\/Local Economy.<\/li><li>Enhance employment opportunities.<\/li><li>Reduce forced migration due to lack of local opportunities.<\/li><li>Conservation of natural resources.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Significance:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>There is a dire need to increase ownership at the tribal level so that there is awareness built around such schemes and initiatives.<ul><li>As there is so much potential and ability in the tribal youth, all we need to do is lay down the right avenues for them to use their talent in the right places.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>This initiative will provide economic empowerment to our tribal population.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Classic IAS Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Classic IAS Academy is one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.classiciasacademy.com\/best-upsc-coaching-in-delhi\">Best online upsc coaching in Delhi<\/a>.
